Luke Bates is an 18 year old indie rock/pop singer-songwriter from Reading.
It wasn’t until he was a teenager during the lockdown period that he became infatuated with guitar music. Drawn from the twists and turns of adolescence, he began writing songs based on his life as a teenager growing up in a world that was against him. The songwriter tells his story from reckless teenage party culture and the heartbreak that comes with it, to the optimistic energy that growing up and moving on brings.
