When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets for Wokingham Festival 2024 are available from our ticket page now.
How much do tickets cost?
We have four price tiers, with the best value tickets available in advance of the festival, or you can buy tickets on the gate:

Why is Wokingham Festival a paid event, unlike other events in town?
Wokingham Festival is an independent, not-for-profit event, organised and run by local volunteers. We receive no council funding and rely on sponsors, ticket sales and vendor fees to keep the festival going.
Where and how do I buy tickets?
Advance tickets are available through the Wokingham Festival website and can be purchased on our ticket page.
Advance ticket sales close at 9pm Thursday 22nd August 2024. After that, tickets will be available on the gate until we reach the limit of the field capacity, but at a higher price.
What type of tickets do you sell?
You can buy a day ticket or a full weekend pass. Full pricing and ticket availability can be found on our ticket page.
Can I purchase tickets at the entrance?
Yes, tickets can be purchased at the entrance, however these are subject to availability. You will also benefit from a discounted price when buying in advance.
How will I receive my ticket?
We do not send physical tickets. You will receive an email containing your order number and details of your tickets as soon as you purchase.
Do children need a ticket?
Yes, please visit our ticket page for full details, as some children are free.
Can I buy a day ticket to the festival?
Yes, we offer day tickets, but we’d love it if you came for the full weekend! You can buy tickets here.
What if I live outside the UK?
We love international visitors! You will be able to purchase tickets through our website here.
Please make yourself known at the door and you might get a special shout out from the stage!
What do I do if there are problems with the transaction?
Hopefully there won’t be, but if you do encounter a problem please contact us. Please note, the festival is run by volunteers, so we may not be able to respond immediately, but we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Ticket Types
Not sure which is ticket is right for you? Find out more about our different ticket types below.
Weekend Tickets – Our best value tickets. Entry to the Festival for the full 3 day bank holiday weekend of entertainment throughout Saturday, Sunday and Monday. You get the third day at half price. This discount is in addition to the discounts for our Super Early Bird, Early Bird and Advance tickets.
Day Tickets – Entry to the Festival for the day specified on your ticket only. Day tickets are available for Saturday, Sunday or Monday. Or you can buy separate tickets for two days - but why not go the whole hog and get a weekend ticket?
Adult – Anyone 18 years or above.
Children - we have two age ranges, with different pricing
Child Under 8 (i.e. 0 to 7), who get in free with a paying adult,
Under 18s (i.e. 8-17) at a small fraction of the adult ticket price with a paying adult.
Tickets can only be purchased through our website.
Ticket Prices
All categories of tickets are available as Weekend passes or individual day tickets.
Children under 8 get in free, but do need a ticket.
This year for the first time we have a new Super Early Bird price tier for tickets available for the 2024 festival, with Adult tickets at less than half of the gate price, and £4 off for Under 18s. There will be a very limited number of these tickets available, so don’t delay and miss out!
Once those have sold out, we will make our normal Early Bird passes available, still with a great discount of £10 off adult tickets compared with the gate price, and £3 off for children.
Once our Early Bird passes sell out too, you will still be able to purchase an Advance ticket at £5 off adult ticket price compared with buying on the day, and £2 off for Under 18s.
Our advance ticket booking system will close at 9pm on Thursday 22nd August 2024, after which time you will only be able to purchase a ticket on the gate.
You’ll see current prices in our shop (crossed out prices are what you pay on the gate).
Ticket Delivery
Your tickets will be emailed to you immediately, as soon as you submit your order, using the email address that you gave us. When you complete your order, it will show as Pending - you haven’t actually arrived at the gate (or if you’ve bought a t-shirt, it hasn’t been collected or shipped yet).
Don’t worry - that’s normal.
Missing tickets
If you don’t receive the email with your ticket details in it straight away, the most common reasons are:
it was marked as spam for some reason - please check your spam / junk folder, and add sales@wokinghamfestival.co.uk to your contacts / whitelist
you mistyped your email address on your order. Fear not, we can recover from this if you contact us (with the correct spelling of your email address!)
your inbox is full and was unable to receive any more messages. We can recover from this too if you contact us (but please use a different email address or you won’t be able to receive our reply either!)
Whoops! I bought tickets for the wrong day
Fear not, we can recover from this if you contact us. We can’t reissue an email with different tickets, but we can make a note on our copy of your order, so that we’ll know on the gate which day you’re coming for.
Presenting your ticket at the gate
When you arrive at the festival, there will be a separate queue for pre-paid ticket holders, so that we can fast track you in.
We don’t need paper copies, but please have your phone with your ticket information to hand as you arrive. Your ticket number will be right at the top of the message, and that’s what we’ll ask you for. We’ll then confirm some details with you, and check you in.
Does all my party have to arrive together?
It does make things a little quicker if you all arrive together, but if you can’t, that’s fine - we are able to check you in separately.
Ticket Refunds
Sorry, but all tickets are strictly non-refundable unless the organisers have to cancel the event.
